Who We Are

Welcome!

Greater Pasadena Chapter is a part of MTNA (The Music Teachers National Association)/CAPMT (The California Association of Professional Music Teachers), and we have about 120 professional music teachers in the chapter, which is one of the largest chapters in the organization. We serve our community providing competitions, master classes, student recitals and seminars/workshops. Our competitions and recitals are known to be in high level. The general meetings are held periodically for net-working and discussion.

The California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) is a state organization of The Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). CAPMT is divided into 9 districts and Pasadena Chapter is a part of District 9 of CAPMT. We would like to invite you to join our chapter and share our exciting events and opportunities with you and your students!
